As your site grows, you may need more disk space, e-mail accounts or processing power. You can upgrade your hosting plan yourself from the client area, without losing any data.
Upgrading step by step
- Log in to your client area on webevi.com.
- Go to My Services and click the hosting service you want to upgrade.
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade in the left menu.
- Choose the new plan and the billing cycle.
- Confirm the order and pay the difference.
How much will I pay?
You pay only the difference. The amount you paid for the remaining period of your current plan is calculated and deducted from the price of the new plan.
When does the upgrade take effect?
After payment is confirmed, the new plan limits are usually applied automatically within a few minutes. Your files, databases and e-mails stay as they are; the IP address and DNS settings do not change.
If you want to move to a VDS or server
Moving from shared hosting to a VDS or dedicated server requires a migration to a different infrastructure. In this case, order the new service and open a support ticket for the migration.
Downgrading
Moving to a smaller plan is also possible. However, if your current usage (disk, number of e-mail accounts, etc.) exceeds the new plan's limits, you need to clean up first.
