Adding an Email Alias in Plesk Panel

Adding an alias to an email address in Plesk Panel lets you reach the same mailbox with more than one address. For example, if you also want to receive the mail sent to info@yourdomain.com via contact@yourdomain.com, an alias is just what you need. Here is how to do it step by step:

🛠️ Adding an Email Alias in Plesk Panel

1. Log In to Plesk

Log in to the Plesk control panel from your browser (https://server-ip-address:8443).

2. Go to the Mail Tab

Click the “Mail” tab in the left menu.

3. Select the Email Account

Click the email address you want to add an alias to.

4. Open the Email Aliases Tab

Find and click “Email Aliases” in the top tabs.

5. Enter the Alias

  • Click “Add email alias” or a similar button.

  • In the field that opens, type the email address you want to use as an alias (for example contact@yourdomain.com).

  • Save with “OK” or “Apply”.

Aliases are forwarded to the main email address. So mail sent to contact@... lands in the info@... mailbox.
